（中央社芝加哥25日綜合外電報導）芝加哥藝術學院（Chicago's Art Institute）門前的銅獅，戴上印有芝加哥棒球隊標誌的藍、紅色巨大棒球帽，慶祝芝加哥小熊隊71年來首度進軍世界大賽。

法新社報導，芝加哥小熊力爭贏得100多年來首座世界大賽冠軍，這座「風城」都抹上象徵芝加哥的顏色，就連芝加哥人都很難相信正在發生的事。

28歲的球迷赫斯特（Peyton Hester）說：「我們可能在見證100年來從未發生的事。」赫斯特來到小熊主場瑞格利球場（Wrigley Field）對面的1家商店，更換他舊掉的小熊隊帽子。

他說：「大家都樂瘋了，真的很令人興奮。」

店員納哥（Ryan Nagle）說，架上的小熊隊世界大賽商品，補貨都補不完。他說：「對每個人來說，這都是未知的領域。」

在你所見之處，芝加哥都陷入一片旗海，有藍色的W字樣印在白色背景上。芝加哥人向來都用小熊主場瑞格利球場頭個字母W代表勝利。

小熊自1945年就沒有打進世界大賽，上一次贏得冠軍是在1908年，當時的美國總統是羅斯福（TheodoreRoosevelt）。（譯者：中央社張曉雯）1051026
